Summer’s the peak season for taking a trip. Every year, when the days start to heat up, it’s a perfect time to go somewhere new – whether to a sun-drenched beach on a distant shore, or a uniquely creative vision in a darkened theater.

Recently, Brave New Traveler has received criticism for choosing to publish sponsored posts in our regular content. For those of you new to the site, or unsure what a ???sponsored??? post means, here’s a quick definition:
A sponsored post is an article that has been written expressly because a company has paid for content.
In most cases on Brave New Traveler, our sponsored posts have been written by myself or co-editor Tim Patterson, and have offered a critical eye on the service/product. At no time were we ???easy??? on them because they paid for the post ?? we tried to offer an objective look at the service/product, and leave the reader to decide if they wanted to check out the companies’ website.

Earlier this year, my husband and I took the plunge and left the UK to run our businesses on the move.
We struck out to find our ‘ideal world’.
What we’ve learned along the way is that we’re not ready to settle down yet. In fact, our ‘ideal world’ lies in moving from place to place, going wherever we fancy next and continue to earn a living as we go.

Malmaison?- the AA Hotel Group of the Year 2006-7 -?is to add?yet another hotel to its growing brand.? The Malmaison Reading, once a Great Western Railway hotel,?includes a “seductive wine bar” serving “dangerously good cocktails”, a?brasserie and a caf?, and is due to open at the end of the month with special offers starting from ??99.? Let’s hope the current UK flood crisis, which is extending its way towards places such as Reading and Caversham, doesn’t delay the group’s plans.
