We’ve talked in the past about how “pet friendly” Hilton Head Island is - as a mom I feel I’m remiss in not mentioning all of the Hilton Head activities and attractions for Kids and Families!? Beyond the beach and digging in the sand, there are tons of things for kids to do in the area - things that are going to amuse mom and dad also.? Lets face it, a happy kid on vacation leads to happy moms and dad’s on vacation.

The world is beautiful and harsh in all its infinite possibilities. Whenever I travel, what I call ???The Tramp and the Kid Doctrine??? guides me.

“You are a hobo,” declared my friend of a decade. I stared at her, perplexed, and racked my brains to figure out why she was calling me a bum.
Maybe it had something to do with the fact that I was planning a trip to Peru despite not having worked for several months.

The decision to travel with our children was not one my husband and I took lightly. We both had always wanted to travel, but I was too scared to take the leap of faith.
As parents we wanted our children to experience what the world had to offer.
Our family had also been through an extremely tough time before our trip. We had experienced death and change on a profound scale, and our marriage had only just managed to survive.
