A mile long and 2 blocks wide, so you’re never more than a block from salt water-that’s Dewey Beach Delaware, perhaps the skinniest town ever! You can walk to the rambunctious Atlantic Ocean or the more tranquil Rehoboth Bay in just a couple of minutes from anywhere in town. You can’t get much closer to the sea without actually being on a boat.
If you prefer to travel north or south along the coast, the good time Jolley Trolley will get you there in beach style. This inexpensive shuttle service operates on a regular schedule throughout the summer months and is a popular way to get safely from home along Highway 1 where the boisterous nightlife often spills out into the streets.

Cycling in Vietnam / Photo Shoot Into The Sun
It was eerily similar to swimming.
Water gushed through my helmet, down my hood, and into my face. My gloves and shorts were saturated, weighted sponges clutching my skin. Peeking out from worn sandals, my toes lapped up street water with each pedal stroke.

With greater potential to bare your soul comes the greater danger of getting pecked to death by the peanut gallery.

Blogs grant unparalleled potential for spontaneity and interaction to writers everywhere ??“ a virtual printing press, under your fingertips.
But with this new podium comes one of the less desirable traits of mass media: scrutiny from a faceless mob.

Movies have the power to inspire, to take us on a trip without requiring us to get off the couch.

A scene from “O Brother Where Art Thou?”
One traveling garden gnome. A star-crossed couple on a sinking ocean liner. Eleven crooks on a European heist. And Bond??”James Bond.
These are just four of the travelers who didn’t make it onto our roundup of the twenty greatest travel films of all time. Not because we didn’t like Amelie, Titanic, Ocean’s 11 or the Bond movies, mind you, but because we just didn’t have the space.

The worst thing about hippies: they??™re out there. Somewhere. And you can??™t tell by looking at ???em anymore.

Why don’t all you damn hippies get a life?
Looking around, you don’t see many hippies these days. Sure, you see bellbottoms, tie-dyes and Birkenstocks ??“ why not, they’re comfortable ??“ but the people in them don??™t consider themselves hippies.

I’ve been married now for almost one year.
That’s almost 12 months since donning a tux, standing in front of my family (and hers), and slipping a ring over her finger, declaring that this woman, this person, this wonderful sliver of soul, shall be my wife.
My how the time flies.
Since that moment I’ve often pondered what’s changed in our relationship. After all, my wife and I had lived together for almost 3 years before I proposed. We’ve eaten together, sparred together (literally, in martial arts she broke her toe on my forearm) and even traveled together.

The decision to travel with our children was not one my husband and I took lightly. We both had always wanted to travel, but I was too scared to take the leap of faith.
As parents we wanted our children to experience what the world had to offer.
Our family had also been through an extremely tough time before our trip. We had experienced death and change on a profound scale, and our marriage had only just managed to survive.

One of my favorite singers, Robbie Williams, complains in one of his songs that love is getting too cynical, while passion is just physical.
Each of us has a different experience related to both love and passion. If we look carefully at what is happening in the world around us at this moment, and especially in the Western hemisphere, one can conclude that the concept of love is undergoing serious changes.

Please note: This is a sponsored post.
When choosing a travel destination, it’s important to do your research. Most of us explore travel choices by reading stories, blog posts, and reviews by other travelers.
Then again, a picture is worth a thousand words, and so maybe it’s best to view an online photo album in order to get a sense of the place where you want to go.

Travel writers are a weird bunch of people who tend to think too much.
They travel and write to make a living (or a vague approximation of one), but sometimes it seems as if they don’t enjoy either activity very much.
They write fact, they write fiction and sometimes they write both in the same paragraph. They consistently come up with the most creative and original excuses for missed deadlines in the entire publishing industry.
