Summit County, Colorado: Denver’s Playground

When leaving Denver in the rear-view mirror and heading up I-70 going West, one starts to see the Rocky Mountains in front and the plains behind.  After going through Eisenhower Tunnel and Loveland Pass one starts going down the other side only to meet Summit County head on.  There are three towns adjacent to each other, Frisco, Dillon and Silverthorne.  There are five ski areas that can

Surf and Turf at Martha’s Vineyard

Just a few miles off the coast of Massachusetts lies Martha’s Vineyard, an island that awaits anybody who is interested in kicking your feet up, putting your toes in the sand or just relaxing and getting away from it all.  With the New England coast typically being rocky and rugged, Martha’s Vineyard paints a gentler coast line with a plethora of public beaches, state and historical beaches, harbors and lighthouses that symbolize and dot the New England coast.  Public transportation can get you to most of the aforementioned beaches with some accessible by walking to from wherever you are staying on the island.

4 Lessons Learned From The Vagabond Life

4 Lessons Learned From The Vagabond Life

The last 16 months of my life have been spent wandering.

After graduating from college, like many of my peers I had no real clue as to what to do with my life. I did what anyone with an insatiable travel bug would do and took off to an exotic destination to teach English.

The exotic destination quickly turned into a mundane daily rhythm that was full of obstacles, frustrations and existential questions. At the end of my contract, the travel-bug and existential questions were still there. I kept traveling.
